To the editor:
Greetings from Naples, Fla. Arrived here Oct. 1. A long ride and bones of the body said ‘hello’ to let me know they are there. Our bodies are so unique, and tell us what needs to be paid attention to.
Upon our arrival to Naples, the sky displayed a brilliant rainbow that seemed to unfold into a big hug. It felt like it was meant to be. Difficult to leave my Michigan home with all the wonderful memories and beauty of the fall season. I didn’t cry this time. Look forward to being with family here — granddaughter Trena Horn moved her family here from Edwardsburg to Cape Coral last June. She is a NICU nurse at Lee Memorial Hospital Fort Myers, so get to see them. I have many wonderful people here, another family.
Many rainbows seem to appear at random after a brief spontaneous shower. I feel they appear just for me, warming my heart.
Organizing to a new setting once again takes time, but seems to go smoother this year. Not so very new to me.
One fears the unknown and I felt that last year. Pool here is great with water temperature of 80. Very therapeutic for body and soul. Uplifting.
Thinking of you and wishing you the best of winters. Stay safe as you journey in life, and hope rainbows follow you wherever you may go. Perhaps you will find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Wishing you Happy Holidays.
