ROBERT CLIFFORD CARPENTER
Robert Clifford Carpenter, 70, of Three Rivers, passed away Dec. 1, 2016 at Three Rivers Health. He was born April 4, 1946 to Lester and Martha (Osborn) Carpenter; he was a lifelong resident of Three Rivers. Robert worked at Fibre Converters for 36 years. He is survived by his loving family. Wife of 44 years, Thelma (Westphal) Carpenter, four children, Randy Moore, Bruce Lesiewicz Jr. (Teri), Alan Lesiewicz (Melissa) and daughter, Angela Phillips.
Robert has four grandchildren, Brittany Summers (Leonard II), Brandon Summers (Brenna) and Deloren Rucker and Zachary Carpenter. Two great-grandchildren, Leonard Baldwin III and Annabella Rucker. Robert is also survived by three sisters, Mary (LeRoy) Johnson, June (Junior) Snyder and Patsy Carpenter; sister-in-law, Betty; six brothers, Dale (Sheri), John, Dennis, Jack (Roxie), Jim and Doug; and many nieces and nephews.
He loved fishing, bowling, playing pool and having yard sales. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Martha Carpenter; brother, Kenneth; sister, May Cron; nephews, Dennis and Clint Carpenter.
Due to Robert’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Instead, on Jan. 8, 2017 from 1-4 p.m., there will be a dinner celebrating Robert’s life at the Three Rivers Eagles Club.
