Dora Dean King, 62, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at her home. She was born in Vicksburg on Sept. 9, 1954 the daughter of Alva and Eugenia (Coleman) Mangold.
Dora was a longtime resident of Three Rivers. On Oct. 23, 1971 she was united in marriage to Dewey L. King who preceded her in 2010. She enjoyed finding garage sales and collecting different treasures she would find along the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Crystal L. Wares; and two brothers, Benny and Eldon Mangold.
Dora is survived by her children, daughter, Myra L. (George) Opfer; sons, Dewey L. King Jr., Cheyenne L. (Mandy) King and Reggie L. King, all of Three Rivers; grandchildren, George, Jamie, Autumn, Ashley, Noah, Nayleighsha, Jordan, Joe and Justen; great-grandchildren, Abel, Savannah, Peyton and Kyler; sister, Reba (Dennis) Ludwick of Bronson; brothers, Roland (Linda) Mangold and Billy (Sandy) Mangold, both of Three Rivers.
In accordance with family wishes cremation will be conducted. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of services beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating.
