Hooping it up
Andre Steward, 10, of Three Rivers, watches his shot sink into the basket during the Elks #1248 Hoop Shoot held Sunday, Dec. 11 at Three Rivers High School. Twenty young people participated; each took a total of 25 shots. Those in each age division (boys 8-9, boys 10-11, boys 12-13; girls 8-9, girls 10-11 and girls 12-13) who made the most baskets will go to regional competition at St. Joseph High School on Jan. 14; those who win there qualify for state at Midland.
