DHHS Standard of Promptness hits 99 percent
CENTREVILLE — “I am excited to see that the standard of promptness is 99 percent,” St. Joseph County Department of Health and Human Services board member Kelly Hostetler said at the board’s meeting Tuesday, Oct. 25, as she reviewed the local agency’s September statistics on the maximum time allowed to complete a required case action.
It was noted that this was the third highest standard of promptness in Michigan.
St. Joseph County’s SOP has risen significantly over the years, from an average of 88.8 percent in 2011 to an average of 96.6 percent in 2015. In September 2015 it was 98.13 percent, and in August 2016 it was 98.5 percent.
