Don’t believe everything you read or hear
To the editor:
In 2003 a president lied to the American people. He said, without any evidence to back him up, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and at some undetermined time would likely use them to kill Americans. He said it was urgent that the U. S. attack Iraq to prevent this from happening. He sent American soldiers into an eight-year-long war.
Now we have another president-elect who has a habit of saying things that are not true to attain his goals. Don’t believe everything you read or hear. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”
