Woman sentenced in moving violation causing death case
CENTREVILLE — Elena Aguilar, 25, of Howe, Ind. was sentenced Wednesday, Dec. 7 after pleading no contest to moving violation causing death in a May 11 crash in which a 20-year-old Sturgis woman was killed.
District Court Judge Jeffrey Middleton sentenced Aguilar to 180 days in jail, with 10 days credited and 24 months of probation. Middleton also ordered Aguilar to pay $1,045 in court fees and fines.
